Tech Life signs up on Thumbtack to advertise iPhone Repair
Posted by Jared on 9-7-2011
Tech Life got an email the other day from a up and coming company called Thumbtack.com. So far they seem to be a decently ranked source on google (and you know we LOVE high rankers in Google). I don’t know what to expect yet because i just listed my posting but it looks like it seems to work for other local iPhone repair companies in Jacksonville. Among other things we have been expanding our iPhone Repair Service area to all of Florida.
Tech Life shows Jacksonville’s Broken and Repaired iPhone screens
Posted by Jared on 10-12-2011
As you can see we have been adding a few changes to the tech life website. We have recently been taking pictures of our customers broken iPhones and posting them to Youtube and our site. No names or anything just broken iPhones that we were able to repair. We are trying to figure out some sort of art project to do with our broken screens.
Tech Life gets iPhone all the way from Alaska!
Posted by Jared on 6-25-2011
So we received a phone call the other day from a odd area code. We had a woman calling from Alaska wanting to know if she could ship her water damaged iPhone 3G to Tech Life for repair. At first we recommended she just find another used iPhone on craigslist because the hassle and expense of shipping outweighed the cost of us to fix ...
iPod Nano 3rd gen battery replacement was a bad idea.
Posted by Jared on 05-17-2011
You live and you learn. As of recently we have been offering iPod repair to all iPods including the iPod nano. Offering this repair seemed like a good idea at the time, that is until I attemted my first iPod nano 3rd gen repair. Wow. Those things are NOT designed to be taken apart. I was presented with a brand new iPod Nano 3rd generation. The owner had it sitting in a closet for...

It is not high tech but hey it gets the job done. The Tech Life delivery car is now more recognizable then ever. We have been accumulating broken iPhone screens over the past few months and have been trying to figure out to do with them. I came up with the idea of using them to...
The iPhone 4s Unboxed by Tech Life
Posted by Jared on 10/14/2011
Today was just one of those rare perfect days. The weather was nice, our work phone was ringing, and the brand new iPhone 4s was finally released to the public! Last night we drove from store to store looking for people camping out waiting for the new iPhone. We found it odd that there was no one to be found. This morning we drove down to the Jacksonville Apple store around 10 am and discovered there was no wait. There were police outside...
The iPhone 4s Disassembly Tear Down by Tech Life
Posted by Jared on 10/17/2011
Yes not but a few hours after having a brand new iPhone 4s we were already in the process of disassembling it to check out the insides. As soon as we saw Tim Cook show it on Apple’s stage it was agreed that it needed to be done. Tech Life found the Phone 4s interior to be much like..
Tech Life on Local Jacksonville News Station
Posted by Jared on 11/04/2011
Tech Life iPhone repair services were seen on WJXT morning show with Melanie Lawson. We had a 4 minute segment on the Jacksonville WJXT morning show. We let news anchor Melanie Lawson take a hammer to an iPhone 3G screen. I was able to install a ...
